TESCO'S Woolton - June 2010

A big thank you to all the volunteers who helped with our Food Collection Event at Tesco's in Woolton on Saturday 12th June 2010.

We collected a staggering 768 kg of food!

We have now given food to 592 people.

This has only been possible through the generosity of the people of South Liverpool.

Morrisons, Belle Vale - may 2010

On Saturday 8th May, SLFB had a "Bag Packing Event" at Morrisons in Belle Vale.

Morrisons' customers donated a grand total of £793.88.

Thank you to the staff at Morrisons for their co-operation in organising the event.

Thank you also to everyone who donated money and to all the willing and hard working volunteers who made the day such a success.

ASDA, Hunt Cross - January 2010

On Saturday 30 January 2010, South Liverpool Foodbank had a "Food Collection Day" at Asda in Hunts Cross. An incredible 660Kg of tinned and dried food was donated. Thank you to everyone who contributed on the day and helped make it such a success.

MORRISON'S, Belle Vale - October 2009

On Saturday 31 October 2009, South Liverpool Foodbank had a "Bag Packing Event" at Morrison's in Belle Vale. A staggering £1,100 was raised. These funds will be put to good use, helping towards the running costs of the Foodbank and future expenses. Thank you SO much to everyone who donated and helped make the event so successful, we really appreciate it.
