Church, Centre and Bistro
Bridge Chapel Centre is a multi purpose Community and Church complex.
More than 2000 people pass through the Centre every week, either to attend activities run directly by the church itself, or by agencies which aim to make a difference to the lives of local people.
As a church we wish to serve our locality by offering a Centre that will through its everyday use provide, a welcoming environment where Christian care and compassion to the whole person is expressed. Our motto ‘Serving People, Meeting Needs, Sharing the Love of Christ’. Opened in September 1997, the Centre is owned, staffed and managed by the church as a charitable trust.
Everyone, from small children to senior citizens, can enjoy a whole range of leisure, recreational, educational and Christian activities under one roof.
The Bridge Chapel Centre supports local business and community groups with an excellent service. It providesa full conference service for up to 500 people (with catering) and holds small meetings with tea and coffee. It is ideal for meetings, training days, interviews and away days.
The Centre foyer is home to the Bridge Bistro. This friendly and welcoming cafe provides a full range of breakfasts, home cooked meals, snacks, cakes and refreshments and is open during the day Monday to Friday.
The Centre now houses organisations such as Liverpool Community College DISC (Drop-In Study Centre) and The Alderwood Day Centre for Adults with learning difficulties.
