Sunday Services
Sunday is the high point of our week, as we come together for prayer and to praise God by singing traditional hymns and modern Christian songs. We listen to the Bible being taught in a clear and contemporary manner. Meetings take place on Sunday mornings and evenings at 9.30am, 11.30am and 6.30pm.
Our teaching is usually the study of Bible books and themes that deal with real issues. It emphasises the importance of God’s truth for our lives today. We also share bread and wine in the Sunday services on two separate occasions during the month, a time when Christians focus on Christ’s sacrifice for us on the Cross.
AFTER SERVICE PRAYER AND CARE After each service members of the Intercessory Prayer Group and Care Team are available to pray, in confidence, with those who request it.
NEW BABIES GROUP – for babies aged 0 – 6 months We offer a comfortable and quiet room where mums can feed their babies during the morning service. An opportunity for mums to relax, make friends and find support.
CRÈCHE We provide a crèche for children under 2 years old during the Sunday morning services. We aim to provide a safe and happy environment for young children to play whilst parents enjoy the teaching and ministry. A supervisor is always present, usually with three helpers. We adopt a flexible approach to settling children into the crèche and we will call parents out of the meeting if necessary. Nappy changing facilities are also available.
CRÈCHE TOTS – for children 2 – 3 years old The focus of this group is still on play, but the time is more structured and includes a short Bible story and craft activity.
NURSERY CLASS – for children 3 – 4 years old After a time of play the children have a story from the Bible and an activity.
JUNIOR CHURCH – for children in school years R – 6
TARGET – for young teens in school years 7 – 9
